Wedding shower decorations

 know this shower was  a week ago I have just got pics up loaded . Life keeps getting in my way .

 I did this shower for a couple from church. Her colors were pink and brown. I started with the banner with  those colors in mind. But then aftrer reading blogs and being inspired I wanted to use the pom pom flowers in bright colors so now my delima was pulling brown into the table and back drop. I hung ribbons with the bride and grooms name on them. in pink and brown. The night before the shower I decided I wanted to make dipped marshmellows ( just to add a little more brown to the table ) so the box was covered with handmade crape paper from plastic table cloths ( and finished 10 mins before the shower)so much for being prepared!! But the final touch that was needed Everyone loved them !!

GOD IS GOOD

Today my oldest  longest time friend had a double mascotomy CANCER SUCKS !!! ( BUT GOD IS STRONGER !!!
But all went well and Donna is doing great , they were able to start reconstruction and put in 1/3 fill !! this means not being cut on again and  a shorter road to the "stripper boobs" as they are affecitionaly being refered to as now.
Suzie had to be at home with the babies as Lindsey is having contractions so I was unable to be there for the surgery but went to the hosiptal as soon as I could after work. It was wonderful to see her doing so well and so aleart. We talked and talked. I am so  glad I was able to visit with her all alone I am selfish like that !!LOL
I see a pink , Survivor scrapbook in our future !

Ok thanks now I have another addiction , BLOGSPOT, as if tea, sweets ,buying scrapbook supp plies, well shopping in general wasn't enough !!
I have laughed, cried , and learned so much in the last few days just reading the blogs. There are so many talented people out there.

Today, Larrys work has left me alone so I am off to SHOP !! I don't have any money or really need anything but I also don't want to clean house so I will shop. I want to check out some thrift shops today to try out some of the new things I have learned on blogs.

One question... How do I get followers????

New photo Group

Started a new group this week at Lets scrap, Photography. I am super excited ! Got my camera last year and have been trying to learn how to really use it to the fullest but can't figure out by reading the instructions so I am hoping this class ( group) helps. I want to learn more so I can produce better scrapbook pages but more than that so my children and grandchildren will have a good (not blurry and with heads intact LOL) veiw of the world through my eyes.
